Course Review:
The purpose of this course is to familiarize the students to the main concepts of insurance and different types of policies covering both life & non-life. Students are introduced to the theory of risk, positive and negative sum, process with constant size of one claim, generalized Poisson distribution and its approximation, Ruin probability and application of risk theory to business planning.
