Examination Criteria

The marks and duration of Examination for a course would be as follows:

  Marks Exam. Time
For (3+0) cr. hrs. 100 3 hrs.
For (2+ 1) cr. hrs. (80+20) (3+2) hrs.
For (1+ 2) cr. hrs. (40+60) (2+3) hrs.

Theory and Practical have 50% as passing heads.

Examinations would comprise of short tests, quiz, term paper and a terminal examination at the end of Semester. A course Supervisor may have his/her own marking scheme. Besides above all other Semester Examinations rules of the University of Karachi would be applicable.
